The Occupy conversation is changing. Now.
I have spent every day since Occupy began getting to know every side, every reaction, every emotion, every opinion, etc. I’ve spent months listening to people talk. I spoke to Occupiers, Anti-Occupiers, police, mainstream media, residents, tourists, legal observers, Anons, trolls, and anyone I could get to speak to me.
Until now I haven’t felt confident enough to say what I’m going to say. I now have the knowledge and experience to say what needs to be said.
The vast majority of people I’ve spoken to are looking at Occupy as a “reason to get together to complain about a problem and celebrate like anything’s been accomplished after an unorganized march.”
Everyone is angry. Everyone wants a solution. Everyone is scared. Everyone is tired. But we are not going to give up.
