7.4M earthquake Offshore of El Salvador — Central America

August 26, 2012…In Southern California in the city of Brawley we have had hundreds of earthquakes since 8:00 AM today, ranging from 1.0 to 5.5, many of them being in the 3.0 and 4.0 range. This is alarming, although Cal Tech sees no need to worry but will “monitor the situation.”

So, along comes a 7.4M earthquake, a hop, skip and a jump from the border of the US.

Here’s a close up of the region…

Having followed the Fukushima Japan earthquake in March 2011 closely, I’m noticing the same type of buildup with the swarm in California, then the big one offshore El Salvador. If you live on the West Coast or Southern States of the U.S., Central or South America, you need to be prepared. This is not a “the sky is falling” warning. Anyone who lives in earthquake territory should always be prepared.
