While we rightfully focus on the great accomplishments of President Obama, the First Lady’s gardening project is near and dear to my heart and should be to the entire nation. Monsanto has chemically altered our seeds and cornered 80% of the market. Bees are dying from pesticides and insects cannot pollinate these monster seeds. They are artificial. Mrs. Obama — without telling on the corrupt seed and food industry — is trying her best to teach us all how to have safe, quality food. I started with one plant about 10 years ago, and today supply about 50% of my vegetable needs in my small backyard. If I can do it, you can too. Start small, but start. There will come a day when food prices have skyrocketed and you will not be able to grow a garden without monster seeds. Many thanks, Mr. J.B.
